This project came about through a collaboration between Alexandria and myself at a workshop. She is an accomplished actor and artist. We discussed establishing a story of a woman waiting for someone and then being left alone. What would she be feeling? How could that feeling be seen?

The shoot took place in and around Bombay Beach and Indio in California. The desolation of these locales provided an environment of loneliness, feelings of isolation, and a sense of abandonment that came with waiting.
